Celebrating Fiona – once known as the world’s loneliest sheep, now anything but.
After years stranded alone at the bottom of a cliff in Scotland, Fiona captured hearts around the world when she was rescued, her extraordinary story gaining widespread media attention. I was lucky enough to paint her back then—perched on a rugged Scottish rock, her fleece wildly overgrown, a symbol of both survival and solitude.
Now, with the arrival of her two lambs, Felicia and Fergus, it felt only right to return to Fiona’s story. This new painting captures her as she is today—happy, healthy, and thriving at Dalscone Farm.
It has been great to be involved with Fiona’s journey over the years, and this painting feels like a fitting way to round off the cracking story.
